Managing Intellectual Property in your Business workshop
25th September @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
You can come up with the best invention in the world but unless that invention is protected then you run the risk of someone stealing that idea and claiming it as their own.
The prime assets of an organisation are the innovations, technologies and products that it exploits. The right investment protection and development of these assets, when properly handled, provides competitive leverage and builds for the long term.
Delivered by Robert Looker of Highbury Ltd, this workshop will look at the different types of Intellectual Property in business and the value of managing and protecting it.
- Understanding the value of intellectual property;
- Recognising which IP applies to the business, how to protect it, costs of protection, legal issues;
- Managing the IP;
- Sources of information and advice.
