Day to day, I:
Am responsible for planning and organising a portfolio of project events, including workshops, training sessions and awareness events.
Additionally, I help to manage the marketing activity for the Growth Hub.
For me, the best part about working at the Growth Hub is:
That’s a difficult question – because there’s a lot I like about my job at Northamptonshire Growth Hub.
But I’d say that I enjoy the fact that every day is different, every client is different. I enjoy the challenge; I enjoy the responsibility and that I am able to plan and to be creative, and I am not restricted to traditional ways of working.
When it’s my turn to buy the biscuits, I’m choosing:
Any chocolate biscuits – as long as there is chocolate I’m happy.
The person I most admire is:
Nelson Mandela came from being in prison for almost 30 years, and then became the president of South Africa.
He was one of the greatest ever global advocates for human rights.
In life, I’m inspired by:
Tell me I ‘cannot’ do, be or have something – and that is the surest way to inspire me into action.
What inspires me is simply when the ‘impossible becomes possible’ – to tackle a problem and never give up, no matter how challenging.
A little known fact about me is:
My first accident was driving my dad’s bike. It did not involve any other vehicles, just me and the neighbour’s fence, but it definitely put me off driving for a couple of years.
