Cyber Security Business Update

Last year, the Federation of Small Business found that 66% of small businesses had been a victim of cyber-crime at a cost of around £3,000 each.
The recent ransomware attacks have shown us the degree of damage that cyber-attacks can inflict upon all strands of industry, as well as highlighting some of the protective steps which would have potentially prevented some of the harm caused. This event will provide a number of updates as well as interactive sessions around how you can take steps to protect your business.

- Briefing on the national cyber threat landscape from the National Cyber Security Centre;
- Support available to companies;
- Self-help for organisations to test and prepare for cyber risk; and
- Cyber Incident Prevention & Response

GDPR Legislation – the likely impact on your business alongside hints and tips; and
Cyber insurance – the growing trends in cyber security and what can be done to protect yourself.
